Clemens Kochinke's practice involves international transactions and structuring, mainly in the technology business. A German-American attorney, he has testified as an expert witness on international law. As U.S. law correspondent to major German-language law journals, such as Computer & Recht, he contributed articles such as Links, Frames & Meta Tags, and Trends in U.S. Computer and Internet Law, in Kommunikation & Recht. In late 2004, he outlined Damage Control in Contracts and Torts as a guest speaker at the annual meeting of the German American Law Association in Berlin, Germany.
Clemens Kochinke has a diverse international law practice. With bar admissions to the District of Columbia and Germany, to the United States Supreme Court and to specialized courts, and after legal education and training in Washington, London, Heidelberg, Berlin and Malta, Mr. Kochinke assists corporations and governments, often from German-speaking countries, in United States matters as well as U.S. clients in foreign matters.
